The BMW X5 M Competition has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1.94 crore (ex-showroom, all India). The model, which arrives in the country via the CBU route, is available in seven colours. Powering the BMW X5 M Competition is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 617bhp and 750Nm of torque. Paired to an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission, the model can sprint from 0-100kmph in 3.8 seconds, all the way up to an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. Exterior highlights of the new BMW X5 M Competition include a larger air intake, lower tailgate spoiler, 21-inch and 22-inch M light-alloy wheels at the front and rear respectively, as well as black elements across the body. Inside, the 2021 BMW X5 M Competition comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, iDrive touch controller, gesture control, voice control, multi-function steering wheel, BMW Live cockpit Professional, BMW Virtual Assistant, electrically adjustable M- multifunction front seats, wireless charging, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and a Harman Kardon music system.
